Wesley Wernimont, Creative Director + Chris Cratty, Graphic Designer of ACEA recently served as jurors in the 2012 AFSF High School Design Competition. The program is for a hypothetical problem, “An America’s Cup Sailing Center”. This would be a new building and pier that will support the America’s Cup event and will continue its life as a center for sailing after the event. The students are charged with designing the building and the surrounding pier that supports viewing, learning, and experiencing the rich history and culture of sailing and of the San Francisco Bay Area.
