Artemis Racing held a private ceremony today commemorating the memory Andrew “Bart” Simpson.

After eight bells, a wreath was cast upon the water by representatives of ORACLE TEAM USA, Emirates Team NZ, Luna Rossa Challenge and the America’s Cup family.

Then the morning’s rain parted and sunshine spread across San Francisco Bay. Artemis Racing team thanks everyone for their support. Bart, may you rest in peace.

“Our thoughts are with Andrew’s family, who suffered a tragic loss yesterday—of a son, a father, and a husband.
